When the good news about the kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all nations, the end will come. Mat 24:18
Did you know: Thailand has a population of about 65 Million people and less than one percent is Christian

Hallo,

We apologize for the long silence but both Jono and I are now stationed in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We are in different ministries but still with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). Jono has accepted the position as School leader for YWAM Create International and I have become the Outreach Coordinator for Chiang Mai and the Northern Region of Thailand.

I'm busy setting up an office and need a lot of help, prayer and a team to assist me with all the Outreach Teams from all the different organizations and churches. My main duties are orientation, equipping the teams with different Evangelism tools, support in every sense, sending them to different locations in Thailand and neighboring countries, debriefing and to inspire and motivate people to fulfill the calling of God on their lives.

Everything that the Lord told us in 2009 has come in place. The Lord had said that now would be the time to multiply and to train others, as He has trained us, through the years. "Freely you have received, now Freely give." There is nothing more important to me than to impact people's lives with eternal value. I will still give evangelism training all over the globe and hold seminars to equip the saints.

During May, the Call2All Conference was held here in Chiang Mai. I was kept very busy assisting in the setting up of the conference and also during it.The conference was a wonderful success but I'm really glad that it is finish. Last week we had to do a visa-run to Laos and again God gave us amazing Divine opportunities to spread the Gospel with many different people. Please continue to pray for Jono and I. We are in need of full-time volunteers to assist us and for the Lord to use us, in every sense of the word.

Feedback from Jono:

CIDTS 2013 is finished and to be honest it was amazing in every sense of the word. During our 3 months of lecture phase we had 14 teachers teach on important subjects that focus on not only missions and evangelism, but also our relationship with Lord. Our wonderful students were hungry for more of God and desired to put what they were taught into practice. That time came in the form of 5 outreaches! The first outreach was to the Shan kids in Chiang Mai at night and during the day we went to the streets and temples to evangelize for a week. It was a very encouraging time.

The second outreach was in the North of Thailand where we stayed in a village in bamboo stilted houses for a week. In that time we went to schools to share the Gospel and did door to door ministry where we shared the Gospel and prayed for the sick. We also visited some Christians and encouraged and discipled them.

The next phase we split into 2 teams. The one team went to North East Thailand where they did English teaching, children's ministry and evangelism.

I was privileged to lead a team to Myanmar where at first we attempted to reach out in the crazy time of Yangon during the Water Festival of their New Years season. God came through and gave us amazing opportunities to share the Gospel. Some of the stories from that time was a family who spoke decent English and was very inquisitive concerning spiritual matters and the Gospel. We kept going back to the family and another boy we met and they were very interested in the bible, Minn Khant. We prayed for the Shan family of 4 and all 4 got healed of different ailments. All glory to the Lord!

During our time in Yangon we worked with 2 powerful Burmese ladies. Both were so passionate and full of faith and boldness! Their names are Sister Laughter and Anna. They took us to so many houses to share the Gospel, tell bible stories, shared our testimonies and sometimes we discipled people too. Of course we also prayed for the sick whenever we had an opportunity which was often, and many people got healed, including an 84 year old Buddhist lady who had a massive headache due to an aneurism and was therefore unable to sleep for weeks. We prayed for her 3 times and God healed her right then and there! The family then told us that they believe in Jesus. The next day we got a phone call from the family telling us that the lady had slept like a rock!

Another time was when our translator, Anna's, arm was severely swollen and painful due to food allergies. We prayed for her in the midst of Buddhists and watched as her arm "deflate" in front of our eyes! There were many other healings, and we give God the Glory for that. We witnessed people accepting Jesus as Lord and we also baptized 4 people. I have to tell you that our whole team was so inspired by not only the miracles and how God led us and sister laughter, but also by Sister Laughter's faith level and her obedience and her boldness in the face of tremendous persecution. She is really an amazing woman of God.

The last 2 weeks of the Myanmar outreach we were in the Shan state where we trekked the beautiful mountains from village to village and stayed in the local's homes. There we did the same as in the city, but with the bonus of nice weather and beautiful landscapes. We experienced God's protection one night while we were sleeping in a villager's rural, tin-roofed home. We were woken up by this sudden intense storm. The house was shaking violently and dripping everywhere. We went down to the tiny kitchen section of the home and prayed. We were shocked when chunks of the neighbours' roofs were blown into the house we were staying in. It was intense. The bottom part of the house was flooded, but thankfully nothing was damaged by the water. Also, thankfully we were all safe and so was the house we were in. The house we were in was the only one undamaged and standing in that village after the storm was over. We surveyed the village that night and it was madness. Debris was everywhere. All the houses around the house we were damaged badly and in villages nearby 200 people lost their lives in the storm. We wanted to go help, but we weren't allowed unfortunately. Thank Jesus for the protection.

Our last outreach was near Chiang Mai, Thailand. There we did some more English teaching, children's ministry and evangelism.

This past 6 months was life changing and I just want to thank the Lord Jesus for the privilege that I had to play a part in being His hands feet and voice and to have had students who were so hungry for more of Him.
